Renovation of Szolnok road

The aim of the project is to develop the road for access to the southern and eastern economic zones of Kecskemét in order to improve labour mobility. The total length of the road between Kuruc krt. and Airport Road to be refurbished is 3 185 m. There is an economic zone on both sides, which makes it a priority in ensuring the mobility of urban and urban workers, as well as a collection road with high traffic, which introduces traffic on main road No. 44 to the city. It also plays an important role in local, inter-urban and long-distance public transport. Another important factor is that the road to be renovated connects the Szent Györgyi Dezső Airbase with the centre of Kecskemét, and helps businesses in the Southern and Eastern industrial zones to be accessible. Integration of the project with the objectives of the Integrated Urban Development Strategy of the City of Kecskemét: the development of Szolnoki út is in line with the Sc1 strategic objective of the Integrated Urban Development Strategy (ITS) of the City of Kecskemét County Rights, which, among other things, sets out the background conditions for competitive production and business environment. In addition to the strategic objective, the planned investment is also in line with the Tc1 and Tc2 thematic objectives. The Tc1 objective includes road and transport development for regional accessibility, while the Tc2 thematic objective mentions, among other requirements, the promotion of labour mobility and the strengthening of an entrepreneurial-friendly economic environment. Content of the project. The construction is expected to take place in two stages: In phase I, the renovation of the section between Kuruc krt. and St. Stephen krt., which is 1 535 m long, and in phase II the section between St. Stephen Boulevard and Airport Road, which is 1 650 m long, will be refurbished. Hull width is 9 meters. During the renovation, the following types of work will be carried out: cutting off the upper layer of asphalt covering, strengthening the road base if necessary, building gate entrances to the level, dismantling and construction of curbs if necessary, making asphalt binding layers and asphalt wear layers, furnishing benches, building a dripping ditch and painting of pavement signs. Compliance with the technical requirements set out in point 3.4 of the call for proposals 1.The project was prepared in accordance with the fact that the realisation of the investment concerned does not place any other mode of transport at a disadvantage compared to the situation prior to the investment. 2.It is not necessary to carry out a cost-benefit analysis during the investment, although the value of the investment reaches HUF 300 million, but does not generate ‘net revenue’, as users do not pay any fees for the use of the resulting infrastructure. Only non-state investment elements will be carried out under the project. 3.Investment directly contributes to improving the conditions for labour mobility, as it facilitates the accessibility of the Southern and Eastern economic zones from the northern part of the city and plays an important role in local, interurban and long-distance public transport. The planned renovation will directly and indirectly contribute to employment growth through the stimulation of the economic areas concerned. The development of a logistical economic area from other sources near the Szent Györgyi Dezső Airport, the economic and commercial development in the area of the former Reszelőgyár, and the construction of the new hall of Kecskeméti Konzerv Kft. are of particular importance on the section concerned, the approach of which the affected section improves, thereby further helping to increase the employment rate of the area. 4.In the framework of the development, the asphalt surface of the bus bays along the road section and the accessibility of bus platforms are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in the call. 5.The provisions of points 6 to 7 and 9 are not relevant for the investment. 6.As a result of the renovation, the pavement width of the traffic lane is 9 meters, so the stage of the first phase of the development, which is both on the urban road and the stage II., which is carried out on the outskirts of the road, corresponds to the minimum pavement widths specified in the Road Technical Specification. 7.The road within the urban area to be developed has the necessary utilities infrastructure according to the call. 8.The investment does not include real estate replacements. 9.The construction or renovation of a parking space is not carried out during the investment, so no basic infrastructure for the use of electric vehicles will be built, given that the city is expected to build 8 recharging points in the framework of other projects. 10.When planning and implementing the project, the Municipality of Kecskemét MJV complies with environmental and equal opportunities legislation. The investment does not concern protect...
