Road development for connecting the districts of Bánhida and Sárberek

In its development documents, the Municipality of Tatabánya has defined the main intervention areas and objectives of settlement development in its Integrated Urban Development Strategy. The thematic objective is to improve external and internal accessibility and accessibility and to improve transport for economic purposes, with an important milestone in achieving better access to economic priority areas (Western Industrial Park, Galla Industrial Zone). This is why it is a priority to renew and modernise the city’s transport hubs both within residential areas and in industrial areas (road development, permeability, safety development, accessibility, cycling-friendly design, etc.) improving the conditions of safe transport. A key milestone is to further improve and expand the internal transport links between the districts and to develop new direct connections. The most important part of the city is Bánhida-Sárberek. The road linking the two parts of the city is the missing road network element of the city due to the urban structure of the city, which has been extremely necessary for decades. The connecting road runs from the Bánhida district from the intersection of Madách Street — Polacsek to the junction of the waterworks secondary school of Sárberek. The planned road crosses the railway between Budapest and Hegyeshalom from below. This project aims to create a connection between the districts of Bánhida and Sárberek, with road development including a railway underpass. In the framework of the project, the existing building permit documentation with an official permit must be amended, after which the construction plans will be completed, the public procurement will be carried out and the works will be carried out. Planned development/activities: Construction of the road between Bánhida and Sárberek Tatabánya on the basis of the permit and construction plan with work number 1351-13 prepared by Partner Engineering Office Ltd. — with approved content following the necessary modifications. (3.1.1. B, TBMJV) Renovation of a railway bridge above the connecting road Bp. Oriental pu. Mountain pile Oh, vv. 681+ 89.29 based on the modified authorisation plans of SpecificTerv HT.11.057. (3.1.1.NIF) The construction of a road underpass connected to the railway track section on two sides is carried out by UVATERV Zrt. On the basis of its authorisation plan No 52.344/508 — approved content adopted following the necessary modifications (3.1.1) TBMJV) Provision of publicity (3.1.2.1.) TBMJV) The construction of the connecting road creates a direct connection between the two parts of the city, which facilitates faster and safer transport to the Industrial Park, commercial facilities and administrative institutions. Currently, residents and workers in the two parts of the city can only access jobs in the other part of the city on a long, crowded path. The underpass reduces the risk of accidents along the railways and provides a safe, well-built road for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as the opening of a new transport corridor for car occupants. It is often the case that pedestrians, cyclists, irregularly, passing through railway tracks, shorten the road, which is dangerous for accidents. The development directly contributes to the recovery of the local economy, the growth of employment and the improvement of the conditions for labour mobility, as the length of access to the workplace, the congestion of roads, the number of accidents, the safe connection between the two parts of the city, the Millenium park, which functions as the green centre of the village, the boating lake and the recreational services of the park will be made available to the inhabitants of Banhida. Increasing demand in the park leads to the establishment of new service providers and thus to the creation of new jobs, the number of park events and the number of users of services is increasing, which generates revenue for the businesses that can be accessed or settled there, and local tax revenue for the Municipality. The residents of the Sárberki settlement can reach the service providers and community spaces of the town district of Sárberki in a shorter way, which will also have a positive impact on the demand there. We have taken into account the principles of universal design in the design of the facilities, and we also implement the principles of universal design, and the road can be used by anyone without restriction, regardless of gender, age or health, while complying with traffic rules. During the investment we pay greater attention to safety, environmental protection and the resilience of the facility to climate change and natural disasters. Based on the local conditions and the planned parameters of the installation, we concluded that the project does not have a foreseeable climate risk. The Municipality of Tatabánya MJV has a local equal opportunities programme and an equal opportunities plan. When communicating, we act with a sense ...
