In the framework of the project Miskolc, Martinkertváros, Fövényszer utca 35 (hrsz. Under 5137/23) a crèche with 84 places will be built, with the renovation of the existing crèche building. The renovation of the building will be financed from energy and infrastructure sources. The aim of the energy renovation of Martinkertváros Bölcsőde is to improve the heat and comfort of the occupants of the building, to reduce operating-maintenance costs by reducing the energy use of the building, thereby contributing to the achievement of the goal of a low-carbon economy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) from fossil fuels. The infrastructural development of the same crèche aims to create the infrastructure conditions for a healthy environment and effective education, to make the building accessible, thereby improving access to crèche care and improving the quality of services. In addition to the renovation, an important aspect is that the crèche provides a job opportunity, which can employ a total of 15 young children educators and 3 nurses in the nursery. Of the 1 299 m² gross building with flat roof and four wings, 2 parts of the building are currently in use, with a printing and fitness room function. In the vicinity of the crèche there is the Dandelion Kindergarten, with which the area of the plot is 8 409 m². The size of the building, including the existing kindergarten building, is 26 %. The estimated amount for the implementation of the available resources is HUF 553 046 054. According to the planning task, a static examination is required regarding the condition of the existing building, according to which type of investment will be needed for the implementation of the crèche. Structural deformations (cracks, descents, slippages) are found in several places throughout the building, so a detailed static review and, if necessary, structural reinforcement is recommended. The facade doors and windows are structurally outdated, the interior doors and enclosures have been destroyed due to continuous infiltration, except for the last wing in which the renovated fitness room operates. All new technical systems (master of construction, technical building and building electricity) are needed. Heating and hot water supply is provided by individual gas boilers and hot water reservoirs for each part of the building. The entire technical building network is outdated as a result of which it is necessary to replace it. Drinking water supply, gas supply, electricity supply, sanitation are ensured on the existing backbone network. The equipment to be procured under the project is shown according to the following categories: • Child care unit, group room, adult furniture • Child care unit, furniture for children • Children’s care unit, furniture for children’s toys • Children’s care unit, bathroom furniture • Children’s care unit, transfer furniture • Children’s care unit games • Professional textiles, home textiles • Person’s social rooms (dining room, changing room), furniture and equipment • Children’s catering facilities • Individual furniture, furnishings, equipment. There is also an industrial park in the vicinity of the crèche to be renovated in Martinkertváros, where there are several commercial units and factories that employ hundreds of people. The future crèche also provides care for the children of the nearby workers, thus helping parents to get into work, as well as ensuring the financial livelihood of the families. It also provides employment opportunities for those working in the cradle, as it provides 15 young educators and 3 crèche nurses.
