The project aims at call TOP-6.4.1-16 “Sustainable urban transport development” 3.1.1. On the basis of point (b) of point/B) the implementation of self-eligible activities entitled ‘traffic reduction, road safety and accessibility’ has been defined. Dayka Street is extended to Meggyesalja Street, starting from the Szinva Bridge Petőfi Street junction, which allows it to function as a new alternative bypass to reduce traffic traffic on György Rácz Road. The road pavement of Meggyesalja street is widened from 2 traffic lanes to 3 lanes width, while maintaining the pedestrian pavement on both sides. During the development, the relevant signal lantern nodes will be reconstructed. In the course of the investment, in the area of Dayka Gábor Street, in order to achieve sustainable urban transport and to create a more liveable urban and settlement environment, traffic reduction measures are carried out in the framework of road reconstruction, demolition, traffic engineering interventions, green area development, refurbishment of traffic order, as well as the renovation and accessibility of existing road surfaces. The project includes accessibility and publicity among mandatory, ineligible activities. As part of the project, the implementation of a road safety awareness-raising campaign will also be met under the conditions set out in point 3.4 of the call. The investment will take action(s) to improve road safety for the most vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians, cyclists and, above all, children, the elderly and people with disabilities. Optional, ineligible activity is the development and renovation of municipal roads; construction and refurbishment of pavement; installation of automatic traffic counter devices; transforming and developing nodes and crossings in order to enhance, prioritise and facilitate transport safety in sustainable modes of transport (pedestrian, cycling, public). Infrastructure works required for the implementation of eligible actions (infrastructural elements (e.g.: public utilities, etc.) will be upgraded, protected, drained and rebuilt, and traffic activities will be carried out. During the planning, a road safety audit will be carried out, the findings of which will be taken into account in the planning. We declare that: • according to point 3.4.1.1.d2) of the call, the municipally owned road concerned by the project has the following public utilities infrastructure: sewers, water, gas and all public utilities will be built during the project. • the project complies with all environmental and equal opportunities legislation, and the project has no impact on the ecological status of the environment, the status of water and climate change. • the awareness-raising campaign will be developed in detail during the project development period. Among the accompanying measures of the campaign we plan to improve road safety through awareness-raising activities and publications. • 4.1. the project does not concern a national road. • according to point 3.1.2.2./11 of the call, the green area construction and conversion works will be carried out on the topographical numbers of the activities in the immediate vicinity of the infrastructure interventions. • if parking spaces are established in the given area and are included in the paying zone, the call is 3.4.1.1. (3) a cost-benefit analysis should be carried out as the investment will generate net revenue once it has been completed.
