As part of the planned development, the building complex of the Jerikó 17, owned by the Municipality of Debrecen, will be upgraded to energy. On the basis of an assessment carried out with the involvement of an energy expert during the preparation of the aid application, the energy classification of the building complex is below the DD category. Among the self-eligible activities, in line with the cost-optimal requirements of Decree No 7/2006 of 24 May 2006, the energy efficiency-oriented development of the school building will be achieved through the modernisation of external boundaries and the replacement of doors and windows. Small power plant with maximum household size (HMKE) is designed to develop a photovoltaic system. As none of the buildings concerned by the development currently reaches category DD, the additional activities planned under the project will be categorised as non-eligible, optional activities. In the framework of the modernisation of heating and HMV systems of fossil fuel-based heating systems, the heat centre of the complex is upgraded and thermostatic valves are installed on the radiators. A heat pump system will be installed and central ventilation and air-conditioning systems will be upgraded to install an artificial ventilation system, replace and upgrade the existing system. Existing outdoor and indoor lighting systems linked to the building complex will also be upgraded. Mandatory activities include publicity and a training material for awareness-raising, followed by education. Asbestos has not been incorporated into the building complex, so no asbestos removal is included in the planned development. The building complex is not protected by monuments or local protection. The barrier-free approach to the building complex is currently not solved, so the accessibility of the complex will be achieved in proportion to the project.
