Establishment of a Civil Community House in Mohács

The aim of the project is to create a Civil Citizen’s House that hosts local civil society organisations. It can serve as a base building for them, as well as by creating community, educational (dancing room), conference rooms, offices, warehouses. To this end, the Municipality of Mohács, Korsós utca 27 (1295 HRSZ) undertakes to completely dismantle the building in poor condition (no longer operating nursery) and to rebuild it. The investment also includes the refurbishment of the yard. 1.5.1 Supporting the necessity of the project, antecedents In the framework of the operation, a development may be carried out in the given settlement, which is really needed from the point of view of community development and is otherwise not supported by other calls for proposals. This combination of project content is not supported by any other operational programme. The settlement has a strong civic presence and a significant community-organising power of civil society. However, the funding of the civil sector is rather limited, and therefore its infrastructure is also limited. During the conciliation forums, the biggest shortcoming on the part of the civilians was that they do not have their own headquarters, community space, office, possibly storage space. Non-functional local government-owned buildings were also identified as a serious weakness on the part of the local government sector in the context of the identification of the situation. In the Community and cultural field, with the plan for the future use of one of these buildings (former Korsós kindergarten), the LAG decided to name a key project that meets the definition of the key project, i.e. it is directly related to the objectives and expected results of the strategy, so the content of the strategy itself is the reason for its implementation. There is no alternative intervention on which the entire strategy is based. 1.5.2 Preparedness of the project • integrated urban development strategy — completed • permit plan — completed • construction plan — completed • conditional procurement documentation — completed • authorities and public information — completed • preliminary feasibility study — 1.5.3 The target group(s) concerned by the project are primarily supported by the establishment of the Civil Community House, they are the direct target group of our grant application. The indirect target group is: The population of the city of Mohács. 1.5.4 Activities to be implemented The construction of a new building will be carried out following the complete dismantling of the abandoned brownfield property. We also undertake to implement mandatory, ineligible activities: accessibility, mandatory information and publicity based on Chapter 10 of the GIP, implementation of horizontal activities, establishment of project management, public procurement. 1.5.5 Technical and professional results and their maintenance (if relevant) The building has a two-storey (ground floor and attic) high roof design, taking into account the existing building and official regulations. It is made with new construction, traditional technology, brick and reinforced concrete boundaries. Useful area: 554 m². The adjacent inner courtyard is 220 m². The slabs are thermally insulated by a system of fibrous material of the Rockwool type. Doors and windows: wood or PVC structure. Floor: cold floors and hot floors in other places. The energy requirements of the building, heating and domestic hot water, Vissmann Vitodens 100-W, closed fronted natural gas, condensation wall boiler, Vissmann Vitocell type, 200 l capacity, are provided. The heating system is a controlled two-tube radiator design with a 60/450C heat step. The building site has water, sewage, rainwater, natural gas supply and electricity connections. The utility service is complete. The building meets the accessibility requirements, the use of disabled people is facilitated by a covered ramp and an accessible washroom. The following functional units are located in the building: 1. The clubhouse of the dance groups operating in Mohács Here the rehearsal rooms, changing rooms and clothing warehouses of the dance groups are set up partly on the ground floor of the main building, partly on the floor floor of the main building. It is accessible through the main entrance from Korsós street, but it also has an exit to the courtyard. 2. The club room is located on the ground floor of the main building.
