Discover the tourist product range of Börzsöny by foot: In the center of the Királyrét Visitors’ Centre, we plan to implement the exhibition of the history of local and forest farming in the building of the former lordship school. The property is built on Szokolya 0449/11. The main building on the property is nearly 150 years old, but it is not protected by monuments. It has undergone a number of enlargements and renovations over time. The building is currently uninhabited. The area to be arranged next to the main building is the current buffet, souvenir shop and surroundings. To be demolished due to the state of these two buildings. This part of the area will be reorganised and exploited by the construction of the planned commercial units (service building), public toilet and covered road. The Main Building to be reconstructed is divided into a Residential wing (no tender grant) and a museum wing. Public Water Block and Commercial Units (Service Building; souvenir shop and buffet) join. On the plot of the residential wing Istálló/Kokcsi color is being built (not supported). The Museum wing will have its own sanitary facilities. The thermal energy of the buildings is provided by the wood gasifying boiler set in the common boiler room in the Museum wing. The fuel storage space is constructed behind the Main Building. During the construction, complete waterproofing of buildings, improvement of heat and humidity parameters of existing buildings will be solved, thereby reducing energy demand. The newly created lightweight building parts meet local aesthetic and functional requirements. The original location of the Bellfoot and Cross on the plot will be preserved. The renewable and resulting parts of the building will be developed with full accessibility. On the 66 m² gross area of the Museum wing, the geological presentation of the place (Kirgullrét) is realised by modern museum techniques. This is combined with the exhibition of tangible monuments of local economic history for the last centuries.
