The project concerns a new subsidy scheme, the KEI. This subsidy scheme is for SMEs in the provinces Drenthe, Fryslân and Groningen and aims to stimulate knowledge development in the field of technological innovation, organisational innovation or market innovation. An SME may receive a subsidy for seconded staff, wage costs and accompanying costs of posted staff and the temporary employment or secondment of a PhD candidate.
