The VIA subsidy scheme stimulates innovation and economic development in small and medium-sized enterprises. The scheme is implemented by the SNN and focuses on research and development projects. Within the VIA is a separate budget for projects that contribute to CO2 reduction. Multi-SME cooperation projects are further stimulated by a higher subsidy rate. The eligible costs relate to: costs third parties, materials prototype, labour costs/costs of own labour and rental costs of equipment and equipment.
