Business Development Checks REACT

Region Östergötland, promotes the actors in the innovation system and the county’s municipalities have worked intensively together to mitigate the negative effects of the pandemic on business as far as possible and to transform the pandemic’s challenges into development and business opportunities for the county’s companies. The call for business development vouchers within React EU is a very important tool for further intensifying this work. The project will finance business development vouchers on the following themes: — The digital transformation of companies. This includes support for companies to start, implement or accelerate the pace of digital transformation and work on developing business models adapted to new customer behaviours and changing markets. — Companies’ transition to a green and low-carbon economy in businesses through digital development, new business opportunities, developed business models and innovations. — Internationalisation of companies. The impact of the pandemic on international value chains is a fact. The action will provide support to strengthen companies in value chains and ecosystems in order to meet new challenges. The project aims to contribute to sustainable growth by strengthening the transition capacity, competitiveness and productivity of companies through internationalisation, digitalisation and green transition. The project will contribute to an increased adaptability in companies facing new conditions and having the capacity and willingness to develop. The objective is that at least 30 companies have received financial support. Through digitalisation, internationalisation and green efforts, companies have strengthened the ability of companies to shift their activities to needs that have become particularly evident during or after the pandemic and emerge stronger from the crisis by investing in development and innovation in digitalisation, internationalisation, climate and energy.
