Region Stockholm and the County Administrative Board Stockholm shall create a platform, the climate arena. The aim is to continue as an established platform by the actors that will be part of the finished structure and to be a self-evident collaborative forum for SMEs who want to start or intensify climate work that contributes to green transition. Around 20 companies will be involved in the construction of the arena together with professional organisations and promoters. The environmental aspect has a clear focus in the implementation of the project, but also the aspects of gender equality and diversity should be used as tools in construction, launch, follow-up and evaluation. The project is implemented in four work packages: The overall goal is to contribute to the national and regional climate goals, according to RUFS2050, Climate Roadmap and County Administrative Board’s Energy and Climate Strategy. The overall objective can be achieved by supporting regional industry with the delivery of funding, knowledge and concrete solutions, in particular SMEs, in the green transition and digitalisation.
