Make space for workshop

The cultural and creative sectors and industries (KKN) are key drivers of economic growth and job creation in Skåne, but have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing crisis. Even before the pandemic hit the world, it was generally noted in Europe that the cultural and creative industries and the sector lacked investment and an adequate innovation ecosystem. In the pre-study, Lund University and the Municipality of Lund, together with partners, will carry out analyses and surveys and, based on this, develop model, methods/tools to make makers spaces/workshops available and develop business development support. This is to lay the foundations for a future implementation project. One way to work with innovation is that companies become aware and have access to makerspaces, workshops, labs and test environments of various kinds where they get the opportunity to work with digital transformation, green transition, to develop and create new sustainable products and services.
