Overall objectives: increase the competitiveness of the county’s manufacturing companies through sustainable digitalisation. Project objectives: increase digital maturity and use of digitised working methods. Activities: The project intends to develop classification methodology so that companies within the target group can get practical help to get started with their digitalisation, adapted to their own digital maturity. The most important and central activity of the project will be that some companies start measuring their production efficiency and get methodology to improve it. In addition, some will have the opportunity to create preventive measures through AI/data analysis that enhance process stability. Companies with low digital maturity are helped to improve their skills. Several of the county’s manufacturing companies will have a central role in the project through active participation in the pilot projects to be carried out. Expectations: In line with the Regional Development Strategy 2020-2035, the project will contribute to an increased digital maturity for sustainable digitalisation and development. In the short term, the project will demonstrate improved use of resources by the participating pilot companies. In the longer term, several of the region’s manufacturing companies have been inspired by practical examples to digitise their activities, thereby securing and improving competitiveness.
