RE:AGERA Kronoberg and Kalmar County Green transition for sustainable business development

RE:AGERAs’s overall goal is to strengthen the resilience of the business sector through a green transition by creating sustainable growth, fossil freedom and increased attractiveness of business in Kronoberg and Kalmar counties. By methodically coaching with information, good examples, tools and energy councils, the companies have been supported to develop their energy management work, the companies also have an increased awareness of financing pathways for green transition. This leads to reduced energy use, increased competitiveness and more sustainable activities. At least 20 companies have received targeted coaching and have planned or implemented a change towards a sustainable energy system and at least 100 companies participate in activities during the project period and have created a picture of the possibilities of green transition for sustainable development and have decided to act or wait. The long-term impact of RE:AGERA is that participating companies are better prepared and consciously engaged in activities that build competitive advantage. They have broadened their perspectives to include green transition in this work. Participating companies are thus better prepared to manage change and drive their change work even after the end of the project.
