Pro/vso in AMR Rijnmond has invested the additional ESF resources from school year 14-15 to 19-20 in -improvement of labour management and sustainable labour application/labour integration of the pupils. In view of the vulnerable labour market position of pupils (with the Corona crisis and RIVM measures), the coordinating centre municipality of Rotterdam aims to facilitate PrO/vso’s additional REACT EU funds in 20-21 to continue to invest in strengthening cooperation between PrO/VSO schools, seeking to connect with industry through TOP Academies in sectors where work is available. In order to achieve a good starting position and successful entry into the labour market for PrO/VSO youth, the school boards concluded the Covenant (Samen)Werken Loont in 2016, in which it was agreed to actively invest in cooperation with all stakeholders in the field of labour management/sustainable labour application and to ensure this through the Innovation Fund PROVSO.WORKS, as well as to be linked to efforts of the municipality of Rotterdam such as team guarantee jobs WSPR and HalloWerk matchings platform.
