Increase opportunities for jobseekers with the use of European funding. Leiden city centre applies for the REACT-EU subsidy for the arbeisdmarktregion Holland Rijnland. With the REACT-EU grant, municipal organisations in the region will carry out activities to accompany beneficiaries, young people under the age of 28, barriers to work and foreigners to work. The organisations provide intensive support to the participants and provide tailor-made solutions. Trajectory guidance is geared to the regional labour market. The group of jobseekers has increased as a result of the coronavirus crisis. The objective is to provide intensive support to more than 2500 participants in these projects so that they can take a step on the participatory ladder and/or find a sustainable place in the labour market.
