The project is based on the Inclusive Labour Market programme of the Regional Platform Labour Market (RPA) Noord Holland Noord. This programme aims to develop sustainable regional labour market policies. To this end, successful existing initiatives are pooled and made transparent and new initiatives are developed, within the themes of work to work, from school to work and from benefit to work. The project aims to strengthen the eligible activities: • directly aimed at combating youth unemployment; • aimed at increasing the possibilities for labour integration. The first and second tranche ESF Active Inclusion has constructively cooperated, inter alia, between municipalities and implementers to implement and develop effective projects aimed at promoting active inclusion, by increasing employment opportunities and combating youth unemployment. The Inclusive Labour Market programme focuses specifically on the labour market region North Holland North, consisting of the sub-regions of North-Kennemerland (region Alkmaar), Kop van Noord-Holland and West Friesland. As far as possible, the implementation of the programme is linked to the current infrastructure of the region. An important starting point is that employers’ demand for labour is leading.
