Pro/VSO young people remain a vulnerable target group whose outflow perspective is not self-evident. This requires continuous attention and commitment to teach the PRO/VSO young people the necessary employee and professional skills and to keep the focus on appropriate work or appropriate further training for each individual young person undergoing his/her training within the VSO. COVID-19 has impacted in particular on traineeship activities in the hospitality and care sectors. In addition, there has been a period in which pupils mainly had to attend home education. Schools have creatively shaped practical education, sometimes also remotely. Where possible, practical education in smaller groups has continued physically on site. The acquisition of professional and employee skills has continued in this sense, under these special circumstances. REACT-EU grant continues to allow the development and implementation of these activities. Pro/VSO schools within the labour market region Groningen continue to focus on the activities of industry-oriented courses, internship work placement learning and learning company.
