From the start of the 2014-2020 ESF programme period, the Dutch government, together with municipalities, RMC, PrO/VSO schools, ROCs/AOCs, UWV and the (organised) industry, is committed to promoting active inclusion. Pro/vso in AMR Haaglanden has invested the additional ESF resources from school year 2014-2015 to 2018-2019 in -improving labour management and sustainable labour application/integration of approximately 1,200 pupils aged 15 and over each year. In view of the vulnerable labour market position of their own pupils (including the Corona crisis and the RIVM measures), the coordinating central municipality of The Hague aims to facilitate PrO/vso in the labour market region of The Hague in school year 2020-2021, without prejudice to the additional ESF resources in the transition from school to employment of around 1,200 pupils. The additional ESF resources are used to give a qualitative and quantitative boost to this, thereby improving the connection with the regional labour market, working together with the Employers Service Point Haaglanden, The Hague Werkt (work and development company of the municipality of The Hague) and TOP Academies for far-reaching cooperation with industry.
