From the start of the 2014-2020 ESF programme period, the Dutch government, together with municipalities, RMC, PrO/VSO schools, ROCs/AOCs, UWV and the (organised) industry, is committed to promoting active inclusion. Pro/vso in AMR Flevoland has invested the additional ESF resources from school year 2014-2015 to 2017-2018/2019 in -improving labour management and sustainable labour application/integration of around 1200 pupils aged 15 and over each year. In view of the vulnerable labour market position of their own pupils (including the Corona crisis and the RIVM measures), the coordinating centre municipality of Almere aims to facilitate PrO/vso in the labour market region of Flevoland in school year 2020-2021, without prejudice to the additional ESF resources in the transition from school to work of around 1000 pupils. The additional ESF resources are used to give a qualitative and quantitative boost to this, thereby improving the connection with the regional labour market. The participating schools are PrO Almere, Aeres Praktijk onderwijs, De Steiger Praktijk onderwijs, Almere College Dronten (PrO), Aventurijn, Sunflower School and Eduvierschool De Optimist, De Rede, De Anger and Nautilus.
