In 2016, Hanze University of Applied Sciences has been able to take first steps to improve the sustainable employability of employees. That trajectory had its origin in the fact that today’s student (and that of the future) and the employer increasingly impose more and different demands on colleges and its employees. The Hanseatic University of Applied Sciences faces the challenge of being a future-proof college together with its employees. In this improvement project, together with teachers and other stakeholders, the themes on which concrete developments need to be realised have been identified. This has led to an opinion on: — a system of continuous learning for teachers, so that knowledge and knowledge sharing remains up-to-date and, in particular, relevant to today’s and tomorrow’s labour market. —Development of teachers to provide even better guidance to students, in particular international students, in the development of 21st Century Skills. Adapt the curriculum and specific subjects so that teachers have a basis, ownership and influence to provide this guidance. An educational culture in which students are challenged and guided to explore, take up and apply the subject matter themselves, in which our teachers are engaged and skillfully employed in this system for a longer period of time. This is getting a sequel. Under the guidance of the external expert, we work on the principle that we work towards implementation from insights. In doing so, we first focus on the attitude of employees related to the effect of this on the experience and actions of students. We find out the problem with research in order to gain insight into the experience and experiences of stakeholders. A.d.h. the insights obtained follow implementation and we ensure that these implementations are secured within the organisation. The focus is on the behaviour of the employees, with the ultimate goal to influence their behaviour in a positive way during interaction moments.
