Technical Union is the largest technical wholesaler in the Netherlands. With more than two million items from more than 700 suppliers, Technische Unie is a partner for the supply of electrical engineering, lighting, tools, (luxury) plumbing, heating and climate technology. Our customers are companies active in the installation industry (housing or utility), construction, industry, (semi-) government and retail. At Technische Unie, around 2000 employees work across 37 branches, 2 distribution centres, 22 transfer points and the central office in Amstelveen. Technical Union likes to be at the forefront. In order to continue to do so, it is necessary to be and remain agile as an organisation. A manoeuvrable organisation involves agile employees who can respond flexibly to change, think about their future and are willing to continue to develop. We have initiated a number of initiatives to work on this. In this programme, together with our employees and executives, we want to develop an effective, appealing and coherent programme with which our people can work towards their sustainable employability.
