“For pupils in the target groups of Pro/VSO, it is sometimes difficult to find suitable employment after completing their education. These include, for example, problem and risk young people with a poor employment perspective, but also students who themselves have a bad picture of the appropriate outflows. The objective of this project is twofold: 1. to guide, test and match pupils’ work orientation at an early stage, and 2. to increase the offer of traineeships and concrete assignments from professional practice. Within the project “From learning to work III”, a further follow-up is given to the previously introduced approach to labour management of VSO and PrO pupils. This project provides the young people with optimal support and guidance towards the labour market. With the focus on sustainable outflows, the schools will set up and continue stimulating activities that ultimately lead to a successful and permanent outflow to work. In addition to learning practical skills and gaining theoretical knowledge in different sectors, young people are also prepared by means of individual traineeship guidance for the final transition to work. Activities are being undertaken to build sustainable contacts with companies, schools, centres of excellence and other interest organisations. The following activities will be deployed within this project: • core team of work/traineeship, • industry courses and • apprenticeships.
