The Dutch government is using ESF 2014-2020 to promote the active inclusion of (ex) apprentices PrO/vso by focusing on job management and increasing the possibilities of labour integration. PrO/VSO young people are vulnerable in the labour market and need extra attention and help to obtain and maintain a job. In the FoodValley labour market region, the 3 O’s and the other stakeholders work together to promote the employment rate of PrO/VSO youth, including the schools themselves. Coordinating municipality of Ede aims to facilitate the possibility for PrO/VSO schools to invest additional ESF resources in labour management and sustainable labour integration/labour integration of pupils and school leavers in the 2017-2018 school year. ESF resources are used to give qualitative and quantitative impetus to this, thereby improving the link with the regional labour market. Without prejudice to labour market realities, schools are making every effort to maintain the current relatively high rates of outflows to work — against the expected trend. The participatory VSO schools are: The Future at Ede, Vester College in Ede, Vierbeek College in Oosterbeek, SGM De Brouwerij in Oosterbeek and the J.H. Donnerschool in De Glind. The PrO schools are: CSG Het Streek te Ede, Van Lodensteincollege in Ede, De Meerwaarde in Barneveld, CSV in Veenendaal and RSG Pantarijn in Wageningen.
