The starting point of the project Active Inclusion Noord Holland Noord 2017-2019 is to ensure that everyone who wants and can work must actually be able to get started. The project is a follow-up to the project from the previous period (2015-2017). Work ensures economic and financial independence, contributes to self-esteem and contributes to a strong, regional economy. To get everyone to work in the North Holland region, employers, employees, municipalities, UWV and education organisations — united in the RPA-NHN — have joined forces and jointly implement the Inclusive Labour Market programme. The project Active Inclusion Noord Holland North 2017-2019 stems from the above-mentioned programme and focuses specifically on the programme theme from benefit to work. In the project, the aim is to ensure that as many people with benefits as possible can be directed to work. The project is aimed at all ESF target groups, namely young people under the age of 28, barriers to work, over 50 people benefiting from the municipality or UWV, anyone receiving benefits from the municipality or UWV > 6 months in the 12-month period prior to the project and non-benefit recipients. Within the project, specific activities are carried out for the target group of foreigners. In addition, there is a specific focus within the project on combating youth unemployment.
