Opportunities for jobseekers with the use of European grant The city centre of Leiden applies for the ESF grant Active Inclusion for the Holland Rhineland region. With the ESF grant, the Employment and Income/Reintegration Departments of the municipalities in the region will use additional formation to accompany people with WWB benefits, young people under the age of 28, barriers to work, over 50, long-term unemployed, non-benefit recipients and status holders to work. The unique thing in the application is that the municipalities will all provide intensive assistance to a group of jobseekers. The section guidance of the municipalities is aligned with the regional labour market, and implemented with regional partners. Through the use of resources from the ESF Active Inclusion grant, there is room for intensive support for more than 1300 jobseekers over the next two years. The objective is that more than 250 people, partly through this commitment, find a sustainable place in the labour market.
