Pontis Engineering B.V. (hereinafter Pontis) is an ambitious and growing company that acts worldwide in the rapidly growing industry of Composite Products. A previously carried out organisation scan has shown that employees enjoy working for Pontis but that communication lines, guidance, working conditions, development opportunities and coaching are not sufficiently clear to many. In particular, workers travelling abroad lack contact with the company, insight into their working conditions and guidance on their development opportunities. Pontis is keen to continue to commit its current employees and to be attractive to new employees. Pontis aims to achieve this by giving employees more opportunity to think ahead and provide development opportunities that contribute to their wider employability and fulfillment within the job. External consultancy Personalberatung.nl supports and guides Pontis in this process. A discussion cycle with employees is set up to identify (personal) ambitions and growth opportunities and to match Pontis’ ambitions. In addition, growth paths are defined in the Staff Manual and the concept of ‘Personal Development Plan’ for manager and employee is further developed.
