Smart Photonics would like to promote the sustainable employability of employees. Compared to last year, the organisation has grown from 13 to 21 employees. This trajectory focuses on non-business-specific knowledge and skills. First of all, the current learning culture and the organisation of the work are identified, analysed and then prepared a specific advice. Employees are given the opportunity to indicate what they experience in their work (positive/negative). This is done through guidance to address employee concerns. This includes taking own initiative/responsibility, showing leadership, clear communication, otherwise organising the work, a good interaction/consistency between management/management and executive staff. During the implementation, (new) employees are provided with coaching/guidance tools to carry out their work in good quality and with pleasure and to optimise the organisation of the work. The incumbent employees can continue their trajectories set in motion last year. The enormous growth of the organisation forces Smart Photonics to prepare employees for this. Smart Photonics collaborates with Holland Innovative as an external advisor. A learning culture is created in which employees are given the right guidance in order to be able to do their work properly. Employees remain responsible for their work, but they have the space to develop through the right coaching and guidance. In this way, a culture is introduced and facilitated from continuous learning and improvement. This allows employees to increase engagement and labour productivity, making employees sustainable.
