Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen is currently working on the educational vision for the coming years. An important element is the involvement of the teachers in order to sustainably adapt the perspective so that the student and the improvement of his knowledge and skills are at the heart of the project. The teachers determine 80 % of the student journey it is important that the learning culture is so that they move along with the student. It appears that workload, especially among the teaching staff, is a matter of concern. The University of Applied Sciences has taken the initiative to improve the working experience. This is also related to other developments such as sick leave, the quality of education and the observed work pressure among teachers. Our aim is to deal with the interests of the teachers concerned with the utmost care. We are faced with a number of issues related to our employees, which are of a non-company specific nature and require other skills. In order to provide our teachers with a sustainable perspective, several ExperienceCapture workshops are held and the results will be the starting point to deal with the major change with the teachers. With the results of this project, we want to support our teachers in their ambitions and needs by recognising non-company-specific knowledge and skills and stimulating a positive learning environment. Such non-business-specific knowledge and skills are needed to realise the development points within the sustainable perspective. The consultant supports us in identifying the development needs and learning opportunities of employees and how they can be embedded.
