In the labour market region of Groningen, the Schools of Practical Education and Secondary Special Education will work together to prepare students for a sustainable place in the labour market. Aletta Jacobs College (PRO) 6) De Esborg (PRO) 7) Eemsdeltacollege (PRO) 8) AOC Terra (PRO) 9) Margaratha Hardenbergschool (VSO 3) 10) PrO Stadskanaal (PRO) 11) Winkler Prins (PRO) 12) De Meentschool (VSO 3) 13) de Flint (PRO) 14) PrO Assen (PRO) 15) RENN 4 (VSO 4) 16) Diamond College (VSO4) 17) De Wingerd (VSO3) 18) Van Liefland Assen (VSO3) Activities: The planned cooperation between the PRO and VSO schools in our labour market region is a first step towards an integrated policy. With this grant application we focus on strengthening the existing structure and facilities for young people. The activities to be deployed are: Work placement, branch course, Jobcoaching, Learning company and the Evening School. Objective: Additional guidance in the above mentioned activities gives pupils with a greater distance to the labour market a better chance of finding work or continuing training. Intended results: — With the activities we promote the connection of PRO and VSO to the labour market or further education — The job management (guidance to work) of the PRO and VSO schools within the region is integral, forward-looking and preventive — Preventing early school leaving within PRO and VSO — The young people are better prepared for the labour market-oriented career choice — Where possible, young people obtain a (part) certificate focused on a specific occupation
