The aim of the project is to facilitate the approach or establishment on the labor market or education for male and female immigrants in the age of 25-64 years in the county of Jämtland. It is organised as a regional project with a platform consisting of the Region of Jämtland Härjedalen as project owner in cooperation with the municipalities and the employment agency where associations and organisations within the civil society are invited to participate. Each municipality has its own so called project workshop where development takes place and where exchanges and learning takes place between the municipalities. Based upon local needs and preconditions the work model ”One stop shop” will be developed where the work is focused on labor market matching and mentor support to employers. During the labor market matchning the competence of the immigrants are mapped, skills enhancement and matchmaking is conducted and networks are created on the labor market. The local project workshops complemented by two regional support functions for the work done locally in municipalities: Influencing attitudes and knowledge dissemination and mobilize civil society and the need for language centers.
