The project Coskill - for increased competitiveness Skåne Blekinge aims to strengthen the position in the labor market for individuals who are laid off, notified for termination or employed in economically vulnerable industries as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. The project will enable employees of women and men in companies in the private sector to strengthen their skills where there is a need, while at the same time companies in affected industries will be given the opportunity to develop their skills in the current financially stressed situation caused by the Covid19 crisis. A number of cluster organizations in Skåne and Blekinge are involved in the project to ensure competence and contact areas in the companies. The project is based on digital restructuring as an overall structural impact theme as it will be an important factor for Skåne and Blekinge in the future regardless of the crisis. The skills development efforts will be customized for the greatest benefit to the individual. Depending on where the need is greatest, the efforts will be aimed at a wide range of industries and at different levels of complexity - there will be both broad short-term efforts and more advanced longer initiatives based on needs. The project consists of four focus areas: Innovation Management, Industry 4.0, Digital Presence and Digital Excellence. All areas will perform a needs analysis and work with tailor-made solutions to suit every individual's need of skills development. It may be about switching up and scaling up existing efforts as well as identifying completely new concepts. There will both be a range of basic competencies as well as more explorative orientations aimed at industries with a high knowledge intensity, where competence development efforts from vocational college and university / university may also be relevant. In addition to provide skills development to individuals in Skåne and Blekinge, the project will also develop the collaborative capacity of Skåne and Blekinge's partners for increased ability to adapt when the outside world changes at a rapid pace.
