THE PROJECT AIMS TO DEVELOP PRODUCTS WITH SELECTED THERMALLY INACTIVATED (TINDALISED) MICROORGANISM COMBINATIONS THAT CAN BE USED AS A RAW MATERIAL WITH PREBIOTIC PROPERTIES, INTENDED FOR ANIMAL NUTRITION. DYED MICROORGANISMS ARE PRODUCED FROM SELECTED STRAINS SUBJECTED TO A PARTICULAR HEAT TREATMENT THAT INACTIVES THEM, WITHOUT DESTROYING OR DAMAGING THEM DRASTICALLY. THE CELLS ARE MADE UNABLE TO METABOLISE AND REPRODUCE SINCE THEY ARE NO LONGER ALIVE, BUT THE CONTROLLED HEAT TREATMENT GUARANTEES THE INACTIVATION OF THE STARTING MICROORGANISMS MAINTAINING THE INTEGRITY OF THEIR PROTEIN STRUCTURES AND THEIR BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES. STRAINS OF LACTOBACILLUS AND MICELI OF PLEUROTUS FUNGUS WILL BE USED FOR THE PROJECT, ALSO USING IN ADDITION MOS (MANNAN-OLIGOSACCHARIDES) FROM S. CEREVISIAE. THE INNOVATION IS RELATED TO THE ASSOCIATIONS OF THE VARIOUS STRAINS WITH DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS, SUCH AS TO SHOW ALSO POTENTIAL SYNERGIES THAT INCREASE
