THE RESEARCH PROJECT, PROMOTED BY PLANET IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ENERGY DEPARTMENT OF POLITECNICO DI MILANO, AIMS AT A PRODUCT INNOVATION OF MANGROVE STILL, A SEMI-PASSIVE, MODULAR AND FLEXIBLE SOLAR DESALINATION SYSTEM FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FRESH WATER, AT LOW COST AND EASY TO IMPLEMENT AND MANAGE TO RESPOND TO THE GLOBAL CHALLENGE OF WATER SCARCITY IN DIFFERENT GEOGRAPHICAL AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONTEXTS.
