In order to improve the availability and quality of circulatory system disease treatment services for the residents of the target areas, the project “Deployment of Hybrid Operations for Heart and Chest surgery” is initiated by introducing advanced, less invasive modern treatment technologies for heart and chest surgery. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to equip the Centre of Heart and Chest Surgery of Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics with a hybrid operation (capital repair of premises, acquisition of medical equipment), which would be adapted for both open operations and minimally invasive and purchased procedures, which will allow to improve the quality of the services provided by about 314 patients.
