The project proposal envisages the implementation of a demo project of good practice from the project “Capacity building for biodegradable waste management in the cross-border region of Burgas and Kirklareli”, DBFP RD-02-29-140/28.03.2013, CCI No 2007CB161PO008 BULGARIA-Turkey.The project introduces composting as a suitable and economical way to deal with large municipal waste, which are deposited, raise awareness of the population and direct the attention of children from an early age and students to its ecological benefits.In all schools, child gardens and child nursery will be located composters.The placement will be accompanied by trainings for the use of the equipment.The resulting product-compost, will be used in the school yards and green corners of the gardens and crib.Thus adolescents will be able to immediately ascertain the usefulness of compost, composters will also be placed in the courtyard of Home Social Patronage, which provides daily food to over 650 people and in the Hospital-Lukovit, with 5 wards and 100 beds for the sick, who are fed daily. machines for destroying documents-shredders will be delivered, which will tear the paper into small pieces before it is placed in the composter.In the town halls, larger schools and child gardens, MHAT and Socket Services Complex, garden shredders for cutting plant waste will be delivered.To promote the main results of the project will be conducted 3 large info campaigns, according to the first results after 6 months, in 12 months and at 18 months.In schools, kindergartens and town halls in the municipality will be held info days in order to encourage stakeholders to continue and in all settlements/1 city and 11 villages/in the municipality in order — households to start using the home composting approach.
