The joint project is a response to the identified problem of unequal access to high quality medical services in the field of diagnostics and treatment of urinary tract diseases in the PL-LT borderland. It includes the implementation of complementary broad activities whose complexity and multilevel structure (improvement of expertise, medical infrastructure, raising of public awareness) should be considered as an added value - a CB effect. The project is addressed to population with unmet healthcare needs, including those at risk of poverty and social exclusion, and includes measures to improve the quality of infrastructure, training of medical personnel, information actions, motivation camps, as well as management, information and promotion, conferences and closing activities. The main objective of the project is to develop cooperation between healthcare institutions from the PL-LT borderland in order to equal opportunities in access to improved health services in the field of urinary tract diseases in the light of current pandemic situation of COVID-19, and thus improve the quality of life in this region. Main results: 144 participants of joint trainings and events, 1 renovated object, more than 200 purchased modern medical equipment pieces, 3 training sessions, 2 motivation camps, 1 educational-informational campaign.
