Three cross border partners- Elk city municipality, Lazdijai district municipality administration and Alytus city community center knowing that COVID-19 is more serious for those with underlying health conditions and particularly those who are immunocompromised, initiates joint help for cross borders communities facing disabilities. The target group are disable children, youth, families, social workers, education specialists, community members, social partners, NGO. All - who have to built better and safer community. Project "Cross border community of understanding" partners want to transfer their knowledge and experience in the field of social service expansion during COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure and prepare not only needed social infrastructure, bus as well public services. Joint therapeutic, integration, educational and social initiatives are expected for disable children and young people, their families, social workers and employees from NGO who provides social services for community members, teachers and the whole local community what faced pandemic situation. Joint guidelines for isolation of disabled children and youth, kids and youth and families during pandemic will be created, along with cross border social service infrastructure. Project duration is 21 month. Project costs 996 100,95 euro.
