Based on a cooperation agreement between the cities of Braunau and Simbach in October 2013, CIMA-Stadtmarketing worked out a concept for the realization of a joint, cross-border city marketing within the scope of an Interreg small project. With the founding of the city, tourism and locationmarketing Braunau-Simbach GmbH is now implementing the project.The project contents are the improvement of the economic, touristic and urban planning conditions in the cross-border location space Braunau and Simbach am Inn by installing a joint city, tourism and locationmarketing GmbH and implementation of common goal-oriented measures: -Establishment of a business office with corresponding qualified personnel and development of the internal structures after establishment of the GmbH as well as creation of an online presence by means of an own company website. -Implementation of 6 key projects: Urban branding conception, creation of a real estate master plan, advertising of the shopping area Braunau-Simbach, creation a local online marketplace, implementing the urban branding concept, active location marketing.
