The "ROCKET - Regional Collaboration on Key Enabling Technologies" project is the engine to bring the Comprehensive Economic competencies in the area of KETs in the German-Dutch border area together, to build and to deploy a measurable and future-oriented economic development . KETs enable innovations in various application domains. The combination of technology and application expertise of R&D institutes and companies on both sides of the Dutch-German border will increase the competitiveness of both technology developers stimulate an orientation to new markets and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) offering innovative products . ROCKET focuses on three social challenges: - Health - KETs for pioneering applications in healthcare - Energy - KETs innovative solutions for energy efficiency, energy storage, conversion and transport - Manufacturing - KETs for smart, innovative and efficient production ROCKET will significantly and sustainable improve the current limited networks and cooperation within the border region in area of KETs. Feasibility studies and concrete innovation projects will enable KETs-based, cross-border value chains that will provide both answers to global challenges and growth impulses across the whole border region.
