Overall objective of the project is to increase the life quality through coordinated development of the health care and social systems in the Lithuanian-Polish cross-border area. Main project activities comprise development of the cross-border health care infrastructure, cross-border social and healthcare capacity building, organisation of the ”Cross-border Partnership for Healthy Ageing” workshops and healthy and active ageing promotion campaign. Key outputs of the project are the following: 44 participants of workshops, 120 elderly people participating in the healthy ageing promotion events, 1 permanent structure “Cross-border Partnership on Healthy Ageing” established and 6 NGOs contributing to it, 4 cross-border events promoting healthy ageing organised and 2 renovated health centers (in Puńsk and Birštonas).
