Both cross border communities Elk municipality and Alytus city social service center strives to be social active and implement new innovative social initiatives. Project partners are fighting with poverty, social exclusion, bulling in schools and at home, abuse, they seeks new methods how to help at risk children, youth, families. Being out from community fences where only respectable and smart kids grow there is no opportunities left for those who has different lifes.By working learning,creating,traveling,getting new friends and spending leisure time together in a different, better environment, both cross border municipalities children will open window for changes - they be creative, responsible, self-esteemed for further education, social integration. Learning language and handicrafts will open new possibilities for vulnerable group representatives.During project implementation target group participants not only have joint lessons, summer camp, but will gain language skills and teamwork knowledge,as well as they will create cross border angels-symbol for hope, trust, believe.Cross border project is aimed to widen opportunities for at risk children, youth, families, as well for their teachers and social workers.As working with social problems there shall be team for project"Open window on the world for Elk and Alytus children" and it is great example how to built trust,respect among target group participants. Project duration is 12 month. Project budget is 49530,15 euro.
