The main objective of the project is to improve the industrial cooperation of the two largest academic centres of the Hungary-Serbia border region developing the common methodology and service portfolio that enable the research institutions to develop new technologies, processes, prototypes and products directly applicable in the industry. The project will achieve this by launching the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Platform for knowledge sharing and utilization/exploitation between the two countries and enabling young researchers from the Programme Area to become entrepreneurs by promoting the establishment of start-up and spin-out companies and supporting innovative small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The main activities and outputs of the project are the following: Setting up a joint development concept and methodology; Generating and collecting projects based on a unique development concept, and using them to create a joint online database needed for establishing the joint Knowledge and Technology Transfer Platform; Joint training development (new innovation and business management curricula development for innovative SMEs and start-ups; development of e-learning based training materials for entrepreneurs and enterprises); Start-up competition for students and young researchers; Mentoring, training, advisory – helping young people to become entrepreneurs and set up new businesses through services and a different business approach; Workshops and trainings focusing on development of the border region – start-up and spin-out operation, important notes, business skills, business management, intellectual property management, innovation management, marketing, finance, exploitation, an alike.
