The purpose of the project is to build a regional cycling link between the Municipality of Ptuj, the Municipality of Markovci and the Municipality of Gorišnica to ensure daily mobility between Ptuj and neighbouring municipalities. A sensible, safe and comfortable cycling link will provide a federal connection of Ptuj with neighbouring municipalities, thus facilitating daily migration of regional importance. The cycling link is linked to the objectives of the Integrated Transport Strategy of the Municipality of Ptuj, which was adopted in 2017. In this operation, the establishment of a 12.068 m cycling link is foreseen.
