Qua/Qua protein project is implemented by Ruđer Bošković Institute and partner, Conscius Ltd. The possibility of synthesising reagents for the preparation of samples for MS (mass spectrometer) analysis will be explored, which would allow the original “all-in-one” quantitative and qualitative analysis of proteins for the needs of industry and biomedical sciences. While scientific publications would describe the basics of the concept, it would patently protect the process of synthesis itself. The importance of cooperation would be manifested through the development of software to interpret the results of MS analysis, and the accuracy of which would be gradually improved depending on the success of reagent synthesis. The project confirmed concept would later enable the development of advanced Qua/Qua service-in-cloud, as well as software-a-service version for many users of Q-TOF MS.
