The project “varietal — waste treatment and sorting” foresees the construction and equipping of plants for sorting separately collected waste paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, glass and other materials, including activities of building and equipping the sorting plant, monitoring services and activities of information, promotion and visibility of the project. The construction of the sorting plant is envisaged as stage 5 out of a total of 6 stages of the construction of the necessary infrastructure, planned as part of the landfill for non-hazardous municipal waste “Kalvarija” in Mali Losinj with the final aim of closing the landfill body itself.
