The aim of the project is to conduct highly specialised tests of in-situ acoustic properties of the innovative noise barrier product of the RUCONBAR type. Although laboratory tests of barriers provide very good indicators of acoustic properties (sonic absorption and insulation), it is only by applying in-situ testing at the location of built-in barriers that it is possible to determine the effectiveness of noise protection, the functioning of the entire barrier system (together with all the constituent elements — panels, seals, platters, poles). Based on the tests carried out, further optimisation of the product and its constituent elements is possible and better positioning of the product on the very competitive market of noise protection barriers.
