The target group of the project consists of people or families at risk of poverty or social exclusion, experiencing multiple social exclusion living in the area of the LAG “Tatar Route” from municipalities: Sokółka, Szudziałowo, Kużnica, Krynki, Sidra,who due to age(60+), state of health, including disability require care or support for the inability to perform at least one of the basic daily activities on their own and actual carers. In total, 44 people will be supported.The main assumptions of the project will be the functioning of the Senior Club with its registered office at J.Lelewela 1C in Sokółka through: activation and integration of older people, counteracting loneliness, marginalisation, social isolation, developing social skills and raising the need to function in society. Creating new social ties by integrating and organising mutual assistance with the application of the principle of reciprocity. Participants in the project will have a wide and diverse range of support to meet the necessary social needs. Implementation will be in line with the principles of gender equality and non-discrimination. The principle will be implemented through the participation of both genders in project activities reflecting the structure of the target group, including persons with disabilities. (Complete VII.6) Support for social services will lead to an increase in the number of places to provide care services in the local community and the number of people covered by care services provided in the local community compared to the data in the year preceding the year of submission of the application for co-financing of the project. The club will be open 3 days in weeks of 8 hours on working days.
