The project of B.C. “The installation of energy-efficient street lighting in the municipality of Wasilków” assumes the installation of noch light points in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, the urban-rural municipality of Wasilków. There are 88 LED light points. As part of the project, the Municipality of Wasilków intends to carry out an investment, which would consist of the installation of energy-efficient street lighting in the area of Wasilków. The subject of the investment is the construction of a cable lighting line with lighting poles. The construction of a cable lighting line is planned. 1 658 m from the existing energy pole No. 19 to the project. Lighting pole No. 46 per dz. 561 at ul. Bialystok in Wasilków. In connection with the implementation of the Project, it was decided to establish a partnership with the Sports Club “Wasilków”, which will be responsible for organising and preparing a recreational and sports event for the residents of Wasilków Municipality, which is an element of the project’s promotion and energy saving activities. It is planned to organise the sport and recreation event “First night run in Wasilków”. The project is addressed to residents of the Knyszyn Forest LAG, in particular the municipality of Wasilków. The project’s products will be used by all residents of the municipality, including disadvantaged groups. Support will improve the quality of their lives and public safety in the municipality. The benefits of installing energy lighting in the Wasilków Commune area will have an environmental, economic and social dimension. Implementation of the project will make it possible to achieve the result indicator — Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions of 13.13 MgCO2/year. The investment will be implemented between 20.12.2021 and 31.12.2022. The total value of the project and eligible costs amounts to PLN 539 036.86. The applicant applies for funding in the amount of PLN 458 181.33.
