Ecological urban transport in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski

The aim of the project is to reduce emissions of dust and substances to the atmosphere (reduction 105.07 MgCO2, saved 108.07 MWh/year) through the implementation of a comprehensive and integrated project contributing to the improvement of the function of the urban transport system and support for sustainable urban mobility and its infrastructure. The project provides for: purchase of 10 new buses (hybrid-1 pc., euro VI-9 pc., concept of purchased rolling stock 902 pers.), investments in the necessary infrastructure for the proper function of sustainable mobility: construction of a service station with workshops and equipment. (888.51 m²), car wash (347.71 m²), administrative and station building (417.42 m², 1 pcs. access to the disabled), parking, maneuvering square, depot (14 802.3 m²), construction of local access roads to the base (692.4 m) with energy-efficient lighting (52 pcs. led lighting. road and parking, 10 pcs. led lighting for pedestrians), cycling path (561.55mb), pavements (1036.01mb), reconstruction of intersections, bus lanes to base (561.55mb), creation of park &ride (1 pcs.,36 places, including 3 for the disabled, 1757 vehicle/year in pc.) and bike &ride (2 pcs., 40 state), installation of intelligent transp system. (integrated city ticket/city card (1pcs), mod./transition/construction of street lighting (233 pcs.) for energy-efficient, construction of a bicycle path in the northern part of the city ring road (2115mb), a campaign promoting ecological public transport (artwork, eduk newspaper, posters, banners, films, etc.) and promotion (information and commemorative tables). The infrastructure and the buses purchased will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities (financial costs rational. for persons with incomplete — 1 pcs.) and with reduced mobility, and bicycle path design other than concrete cube. The project also assumes: increasing the accessibility of public transport for people with disabilities, improving the use of urban public transport and making it more attractive.
